EXPLORE THE METHODEdHope Academy isn't just another training program. It's a coaching philosophy built on purpose, clarity, and real development — one athlete at a time. Here's what sets us apart.
Every session has a why. We don't run drills for the sake of running drills — every movement, every rep, every conversation is intentional and tied to your development goals. Coaching with purpose produces athletes with purpose.
No cookie-cutter plans. We start with a full assessment and build a personalized development roadmap that maps your unique strengths, gaps, goals, and timeline. You don't follow a system — you build your system.
Development is a journey, not a sprint. Our training is sequenced and layered — building foundational movement before explosive power, technical fundamentals before tactical complexity. Progress that sticks.
We train the athlete, not just the sport. Technical skill, athletic performance, mindset, clarity, and life application — the five pillars of the Mulenga Method. Because who you become matters as much as what you achieve.
Training alone is hard. Training with purpose, alongside people who share your drive, changes everything. We build a culture of encouragement, accountability, and shared growth — you rise, we rise together.
Coach Mulenga
Founder & Head Coach
EdHope Academy exists because Coach Mulenga believes development is about more than winning — it's about purpose. Every athlete deserves to know not just what to do, but why they're doing it.
As Founder and Head Coach, Mulenga brings a coaching philosophy rooted in complete athlete development — technical skill, athletic performance, mindset, clarity, and life application. He doesn't train positions. He trains people. And he builds the kind of clarity that turns young athletes into confident, capable leaders — on the field and beyond.
Purpose before volume. Clarity before complexity. Development that reaches beyond the field.
EdHope Academy coaching principle
Every drill, every session, every conversation has a clear why. Purpose creates buy-in, and buy-in creates transformation.
Technical. Athletic. Mental. Clarity. Life. You can't develop one pillar and ignore the rest — real growth requires the full picture.
Athletes who understand why they train train harder, smarter, and longer. The why is the difference between motivation and discipline.

Quick answers about programs, training, and how to get started at EdHope Academy.
Our programs serve athletes across all ages and stages—from youth players taking their first steps in competitive soccer to advanced athletes preparing for collegiate or professional pathways. We also welcome homeschool families, teams, and parent-athlete duos through our family and group training options. Every program is tailored to meet the athlete where they are developmentally.
We recommend starting with a Performance Assessment. This one-on-one session gives our coaching team a complete picture of the athlete's technical ability, athletic movement, and mindset. From there, we build a personalized roadmap that matches their goals, schedule, and development needs. You can book an assessment directly through the Book an Assessment link on this page.
Every Performance Assessment covers four key areas: technical skill evaluation (dribbling, passing, first touch, finishing), athletic performance screening (agility, speed, strength, mobility), cognitive and tactical awareness, and a brief mindset and clarity conversation. The session typically runs 60–90 minutes and concludes with a written development summary and recommended next steps. Exact structure may vary by age and program.
For most sessions, athletes should bring cleats or indoor trainers (depending on venue), shin guards, a size-appropriate ball, a filled water bottle, and weather-appropriate layers. For performance training sessions, athletic trainers or running shoes are recommended. We'll share a full packing list specific to your program upon registration. Balls and training equipment are provided for structured drills.
Private training is one-on-one with a coach—fully personalized to the athlete's specific technical, tactical, and performance goals. Sessions are scheduled flexibly and progress at the athlete's pace.
Group training places athletes in small, developmentally matched groups of 4–8 players. The curriculum covers the same core areas but adds competitive game scenarios, team tactics, and peer learning dynamics. Both options are effective; your assessment will help determine the best fit or the right combination of both.
